If you would like to avoid the service fee, please call the theatre to book.* Are you a performer at Stageworks? Ever wonder how your voice sounds so great coming out of the speakers on show night? Interested in dipping your toes in the production side of live theater and events? You are cordially invited to join our live music and audio seminar at Stageworks presented by Dennis DePrimo. In this class you will learn the basics of Live audio for music and theater. It will include PA/ speaker system construction and function, pre-show preparedness, microphone placement and functionality, active listening, and live mixing. This class will serve to sharpen your skills as a performer or technician, and help you to develop a more well rounded understanding of the world of musical theater and production. Dennis is a professional broadcast engineer with over a decade of experience in live sound and television. He has experience in musical recording, live theater and television audio through working at theaters and venues in the Tri-State area. Additionally he has worked on Emmy Award winning crews for Good Morning America, MLB Network, and NHL Network. He is currently the Broadcast Engineer for the Studio at the NHL Headquarters in NYC. Location: StageWorks Studio 237 Grades 6 and up January 20th 3:00pm - 5:00pm
