Youth Playwriting Summer Intensive

Service Description

*The price for this course is $180 Payments made through our website include a $6 service fee. If you would like to avoid the service fee, please call the theatre to book.* Our youth playwriting intensive gives young writers a chance to develop and showcase their work among their peers. Students will learn to write dialogue, stage direction, and proper playwriting format. Students will also learn to apply critique and to think outside the box when it comes to writing for the stage! This intensive is designed to prepare student work for One Act Teen Jamboree submissions, but students are not required to submit or participate in this festival. Location: StageWorks Studio 237 Grades 6 - 12 Time: Fridays 4:00 - 5:30 6-Week Course Runs 8/1 - 9/5
